In a series of interviews with Glavred, military expert and former SBU employee Ivan Stupak has raised concerns about Russia's current situation and potential future actions.

According to Stupak, the oil prices that reached $120 per barrel are no longer present, and this has contributed to Russia's depletion of resources. He believes that Russia is genuinely depleted, even with talk of a massive economy. This depletion extends to military equipment, as Stupak stated that a significant portion of the equipment produced by Russia after World War II has been used up, and the Russian Federation has burned through all its advanced military equipment developed during Putin's rule.

Stupak has specifically highlighted the security of the Baltic states as a significant concern. The Baltic countries Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are currently worried by increased Russian military activities and territorial threats in the region. Stupak has expressed his concerns about Russia's potential aggressive steps if a peace deal unfavorable to Kyiv is achieved. He believes that if war were to come to Europe, the Europeans would likely be shocked.

Stupak also expressed his concerns about the security of the Baltic states, but he reiterates that his concerns are not just part of information warfare. He has stated that the Western world is not fully understanding the situation in Ukraine, and he believes that the security of the Baltic states is a big question.

In addition, Stupak has suggested that if a peace deal unfavorable to Kyiv is achieved, Russia would need something to retaliate with. However, he believes that Russia is currently depleted and may not have the resources to retaliate effectively.

Despite these concerns, Stupak believes that Russia is not likely to recover in a few years due to the serious problems it faces. He has stated that the security of the Baltic states is a significant concern, and his concerns are not just part of information warfare.
