Unveiling the pinnacle of guitar technology, Periphery's Misha Mansoor collaborates with Jackson to introduce their latest 7-string Juggernaut models on a home shopping network, showcasing his signature style and bloodied hands.
New Jackson Guitars Join Misha Mansoor's Juggernaut Signature Collection
Jackson Guitars has expanded its Juggernaut signature collection with three new 7-string models, designed in collaboration with Periphery's riff-master, Misha Mansoor. The Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P are now available, offering players a chance to own a piece of Mansoor's signature sound.
The Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P models come in two distinct colour options. The HT7 features Signal Yellow and Silverburst Sparkle finishes, while the HT7P boasts a unique Chlorine Burst with a poplar burl veneer. Both models sport an asymmetrical arrowhead-style 4x3 headstock, adorned with die-cast locking tuners in black.
Each guitar in the new collection is equipped with Mansoor's MM1 electric guitar pickups, high-output passive humbuckers designed in collaboration with Misha Mansoor. The wiring setup includes a master volume and tone control, with the latter featuring a push/pull function.
The fingerboard, featuring 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, is a testament to speed and comfort. Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side markers and offset dot inlays ensure visibility during performances, while a flatter 20" radius ebony fingerboard and rolled edges provide a comfortable playing experience.
The necks have been reinforced with carbon fibre rods to withstand the rigours of the road or intense home practice. All the hardware on the Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P models is black, and the guitars come with string-through-body hardtail bridges as standard. After Jackson debuted Mansoor's signature guitar with an EverTune bridge in April, this new design choice offers a more traditional hardtail bridge setup.
Mansoor had been teasing an 8-string with an EverTune, but no comment was given on its potential release. However, he did mention that there is a slight feel and tone tax with an EverTune bridge, preferring a good hardtail bridge for the best sound.
The Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7 retails at £1,099, while the HT7P is priced at £1,149. These new guitars are a must-have for any fan of Misha Mansoor or for players seeking a high-performance 7-string instrument.
Whether you're a fan of Periphery, a guitar enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates great design and craftsmanship, the Pro Series Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P are sure to impress. Get yours today and join the ranks of musicians who have chosen to wield the power of the Juggernaut.
