West Indies and Bangladesh All-Rounders Shine in ICC Men's ODI Rankings

In the latest ICC Men's ODI rankings, there have been significant movements among all-rounders and bowlers, with Jayden Seales and Roston Chase of West Indies making impressive strides.

Jayden Seales, the West Indies quick, has shown remarkable improvement, rising 23 spots to No.60 in the ICC men's ODI all-rounder rankings. His ascension is also evident in the bowling rankings, where he has risen 17 spots to No.16, boasting a rating of 603. In addition, Seales has climbed to No.19 in the ODI bowling rankings.

Roston Chase, another West Indies all-rounder, has also made a notable move, advancing 5 spots to No.58 in the ICC men's ODI all-rounder rankings.

Meanwhile, in the race for the top ODI bowler, Keshav Maharaj of South Africa maintains his position as the No.1 ODI bowler in the world with a rating of 687. Maheesh Theekshana of Sri Lanka follows closely behind in the No.2 spot, with a rating of 671. Adam Zampa of Australia is ranked No.10 with a rating of 608.

Keshav Maharaj's impressive form was on display in the first ODI between Australia and South Africa on August 19, 2025, where he achieved a career-best effort, securing his first five-wicket haul in ODIs.

Other notable moves in the all-rounder rankings include Azmatullah Omarzai of Afghanistan, who holds the No.1 spot with a rating of 296. Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe is ranked No.3 with a rating of 290, and Michael Bracewell of New Zealand is ranked No.5 with a rating of 246.

In the batting rankings, West Indies captain Shai Hope has moved up two spots to No.7, thanks to his unbeaten 120 against Pakistan in Tarouba. The current No.1 in the ICC men's ODI batting rankings is Shubman Gill from India, with a rating of 784. The top 10 also includes Rohit Sharma, Babar Azam, Virat Kohli, Daryl Mitchell, Charith Asalanka, Harry Tector, Shreyas Iyer, and Ibrahim Zadran.

The team currently ranked 19th in the ICC Men's ODI Bowling Rankings is the United States, marking their first time reaching this position in 2025. Bernard Scholtz of Namibia is ranked No.4 with a rating of 644.

Rashid Khan of Afghanistan is ranked No.5 with a rating of 640, and Mitchell Marsh has risen 6 spots to No.52 in the ICC men's ODI bowling rankings. In the bowling rankings, Kuldeep Yadav from India is ranked No.3 with a rating of 650.

Overall, the latest ICC Men's ODI rankings reflect a competitive and exciting landscape, with several players from various nations making impressive strides in their respective categories.
