US Plans for a Public Debut of BNB Treasury Company on American Exchange, Aiming for $1 Billion in Capital Gathering
In an exciting development for the blockchain and digital assets industry, digital assets investment firm B Strategy has announced plans to launch a U.S.-listed company. This corporate BNB treasury and investment vehicle aims to foster ecosystem growth, invest in core technology development, provide grants for innovative projects, and support community initiatives within the BNB ecosystem.
The venture, which has strategic support from YZi Labs, formerly known as Binance Labs, is expected to raise $1 billion. YZi Labs, with over $10 billion in assets and a portfolio of over 300 projects globally, is a key supporter of the initiative.
Leon Lu, co-founder of B Strategy and Nasdaq-listed Metalpha Technology Holding (MATH), leads the venture. Lu previously managed a Bitmain-seeded crypto stocks fund that achieved a 276% return in approximately 24 months. Max Hua, another co-founder of B Strategy, is the former CFO and rotating CEO of mining hardware giant Bitmain, and before his time at Bitmain, he was a partner at law firm Shearman & Sterling LLP with 15 years of experience in capital markets and IPO advisory.
Hua emphasises the importance of robust governance for the project, drawing on his experience at Bitmain. He states that the project will bring operator's discipline, including industrial-grade governance, transparent reporting, and bank-level controls. Ella Zhang, head of YZi Labs, shares this sentiment, seeing BNB as the cornerstone utility for the next generation of capital markets and financial systems.
The closing of related financing is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. B Strategy has already secured backing from several prominent Asia-based family offices as anchor investors. The U.S.-listed vehicle is a direct appeal to institutional investors seeking transparent and regulated access to the digital asset class.
The search results do not provide information about which family-owned Asia-based companies have acquired shares in the initial capital of B Strategy. However, the initiative has already attracted strong regional backing, suggesting a promising future for this innovative venture.
