Vebego performing clean-up operations at Dortmund Airport
Vebego Germany has successfully secured a cleaning contract at Dortmund Airport, a bustling hub that caters to thousands of passengers daily. The contract, which covers an area of approximately 230,000 square metres, began on September 1, 2025.
Raphael Blank, the Regional Manager at Vebego, oversees the operations at the airport. The company employs around 45 individuals to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and punctuality of the airport simultaneously.
The cleaning contract at Dortmund Airport is not just about maintaining cleanliness; it's about doing so efficiently. Vebego uses a modern cleaning concept that incorporates the use of digital tools for operation management. These tools help in coordinating the tight cleaning windows, which are synchronised with the flight schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations.
One of the key aspects of the cleaning concept is the use of floor scrubbing robots on large traffic areas within the contract. These robots help in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the airport, especially on high-traffic areas.
The safety and well-being of passengers and staff are of utmost importance at Dortmund Airport. With this in mind, Vebego's cleaning contract ensures that the airport remains clean, safe, and punctual, contributing to a smooth travel experience for all.
