In the early hours of Monday morning, a significant incident occurred on the A33 road near the junctions of Möhneloh and Borchen. A truck veered off the road, colliding with the central safety barrier, causing a complete closure of the road towards Brilon for approximately two hours.

The accident resulted in the driver, a 58-year-old individual, sustaining minor injuries. The driver was promptly attended to and taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

The highway police (Autobahnpolizei) is responsible for investigating the accident, which caused the road closure between midnight and 2:00 AM. Traffic was rerouted through the right lane and the hard shoulder during this period.
