Vehicle in flames reported in Baven, according to local authorities in Poland.
Last night (02.09. / 03.09.2025), a car fire occurred in the quiet town of Baven. The incident, which took place around 01:45 AM, left a Mercedes completely engulfed in flames.
The car fire occurred on "Im Flachskamp" street, directly in front of a residence. Unfortunately, another car parked in front of the house was also damaged by the intense heat. Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire.
The Celle Police Station is handling inquiries regarding the incident. Ulrike Trumtrar, who can be contacted at [email protected] or 05141 277-104, is the contact person for this case.
The fire department was swift in their response, successfully extinguishing the fire and preventing it from spreading to the building. However, the cause of the fire remains unknown, and the police are currently investigating the matter.
The total damage from the incident is estimated to be approximately 30,000 euros. The police are urging anyone with any suspicious observations from that night to contact the Celle police at 05141-2770.
