Vehicular Fire on Autobahn 3 in Frankfurt Leads to Extensive Emergency Response

The nearby airport was informed about the restricted visibility, and the bridge structure was inspected and reopened for aircraft crossing. The fire was extinguished, but the heat damaged the road surface and the tunnel ceiling.
