VfB Stuttgart Close to Signing South Korean Striker Oh Hyeon-gyu

VfB Stuttgart are reportedly on the verge of signing South Korean striker Oh Hyeon-gyu before the transfer window closes on Monday evening.

After the departures of Nick Woltemade and Enzo Millot, the German club has around 40 to 50 million euros remaining in their transfer budget. The estimated transfer fee for Oh Hyeon-gyu is around 28 million euros, including bonus payments.

Oh Hyeon-gyu, a 17-time South Korean national player, is currently under contract with KRC Genk. He scored 12 goals in 41 competitive games last season and set up three more. This season, he has already scored two goals in six games.

The clubs are currently working out the final details of the transfer, which would see Oh Hyeon-gyu move to the Bundesliga club. It is said that he can play not only in the center but also on the wings, providing versatility to VfB Stuttgart's attacking options.
