A robbery took place in the city of Wedding, Germany, last night, leaving a 42-year-old man injured and his shopping cart missing.

The suspect, who was described as wearing a dark hoodie and jeans, stole the victim's shopping cart containing groceries and personal items during the robbery. The suspect then fled the scene, and the shopping cart has not been recovered as of the latest update.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, and his condition is currently stable, but he is expected to undergo surgery.

The investigation of the robbery is being handled by a specialized unit from the Police Directorate 1 (North). The police have cordoned off the scene for investigation, and they are seeking witnesses to the incident.
