Villagers' Delight: A Resident Marks Biwak Celebration in Dusseldorf
Düsseldorf's Enchanting Event at the Kartause-Hain School
On a chilly Saturday in February, the Kartause-Hain School on Unterrather Straße played host to a captivating event. The schoolyard was filled with an array of guests, including delegations from friendly associations and neighbours, all eager to witness the festivities.
At the heart of the event was a diverse program that offered something for everyone. The children's Prince Pair Felix & Ida of the Unterrather Funken took the stage, delighting the crowd with their presence. The Düsseldorf City Prince Guard, led by President Dirk Kemmer, made a grand appearance, enchanting the guests with their dance and song.
Among the highlights of the day was the performance of young dancer Solomarie Luise. Despite performing without music, her grace and poise captivated the audience. Meanwhile, Prince Andreas I. and Venetia Evelyn, now residing in the Hofburg, were warmly welcomed and enthusiastically cheered.
Venetia Evelyn, who was teased by the Prince as a "real Dusseldorf resident," was not the only one receiving special attention. The Prince presented an order to two elderly women in wheelchairs, a heartwarming moment that added to the day's charm.
The catering at the event, as mentioned in the Biwak, was nothing short of delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of the day. Karina Hermsen, who captured the visit on camera, was able to immortalise the memories of this enchanting day.
Unfortunately, the search results do not contain the name of the president of the Düsseldorf City Prince Guard who participated in the event. Regardless, the day was a resounding success, bringing together the community in a celebration of friendship, tradition, and the spirit of Düsseldorf.
