Vinci takes over R+S Group in strategic acquisition
Vinci Energies Acquires R+S Group for Expanded Building Solutions
Vinci Energies, a leading global player in electrical, digital, and energy infrastructure services, has announced the acquisition of the R+S Group, a Fulda-based company specialising in electrical engineering, building technology, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). The transaction, which is subject to approval from German antitrust authorities, is expected to close by the end of August.
The R+S Group, with its over 1,200 employees, will complement the 150 existing business units of Vinci Energies Building Solutions. Stefan Falk, CEO of Vinci Energies Deutschland Building Solutions GmbH, stated that the acquisition strengthens their expertise in electrical solutions, and will enable Vinci Energies to offer combined mechanical and electrical services.
The seller of the R+S Group is Nokera AG, a company specialising in serial timber construction. As part of the transaction, the R+S Group will continue to be a project partner of Nokera AG in residential building construction using serial timber construction methods.
The acquisition will provide Vinci Energies with comprehensive solutions for buildings, and will expand the range of electrical and multi-technical solutions for buildings offered by Vinci Energies. Nokera and Vinci Energies aim for a strategic partnership in the construction of buildings in the infrastructure sector, including Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects and military staff accommodations.
In 2024, the R+S Group generated sales of 191 million euros. The company's integration into the network of Vinci Energies Building Solutions is expected to reduce coordination efforts for Vinci Energies' customers. The integration will also expand the range of services offered by Vinci Energies, making them a more competitive player in the construction industry.
The acquisition agreement was signed on July 17, 2025, but the company that acquired the R+S Group in July 2025 and its future plans for the company are not specified in the provided search results.
The R+S Group consists of five companies, and will join the ranks of Vinci Energies Building Solutions, strengthening their position in the German market. With this acquisition, Vinci Energies continues to demonstrate its commitment to growth and innovation in the construction industry.
