The automotive world is abuzz with the latest release from Volkswagen - the ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE, a special edition model developed in collaboration with the performance sportswear brand Bogner FIRE+ICE. This limited-edition vehicle, with only 1,990 examples available, is based on the sporty GTX model, which makes up around every tenth vehicle in the ID.3 series.

The ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE boasts a striking design, inspired by the Bogner FIRE+ICE collections from the 1990s. The seats are quilted like down jackets, featuring a simulated zipper and the FIRE+ICE logo in the middle. The interior is colour-divided, with the driver's side and the seat behind it featuring "On Fire Red" accents, while the passenger side is dominated by "Keep Cool Blue" design elements.

The exterior of the ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE is no less impressive. It comes with 20-inch "Locarno" wheels with an ultra-violet metallic eloxal finish and a glossy turn, as well as a red GTX hub cover. The roof frame strip is accented with "Flaming Red" eloxal paint, and the latest-generation LED rear lights are darkened for the special model. The roof edge spoiler bears the Fire-and-Ice logo from the 1990s.

Under the hood, the ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE offers two engine variants, with 210 kW (286 PS) and 240 kW (326 PS). Both deliver a maximum torque of 545 Nm. The battery can be charged at DC fast-charging stations with up to 185 kW, allowing it to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 26 minutes. The combined WLTP range of the ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE is an impressive up to 591 kilometers.

The ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE special edition has started production in Sachsen, at the Zwickau vehicle plant and GlΓ€serne Manufaktur Dresden. The stronger version of the ID.3 GTX special model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and is electronically limited to 200 km/h.

The light projections when opening the ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE feature graphic displays of "Fire" (driver's side) and "Ice" (passenger side) on the ground. The C-pillar of the ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE features a transparent-matte foil with the geometric FIRE+ICE pattern.

The ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE is priced starting at 56,020 euros. With its unique design, powerful performance, and limited availability, this special edition is sure to be a hit among car enthusiasts.
