On August 13, 2022, a series of violent incidents took place at two different S-Bahn stations in Munich. The Munich Federal Police Inspection, responsible for police safety and criminal investigation in the area of German Railways facilities and the largest German S-Bahn network, is actively seeking witnesses and the unknown assailant involved in these incidents.

At around 21:10, the assailant threatened and spat at two other men at S-Bahn station Karlsplatz (Stachus). The perpetrator, described as North African/Southern European appearance, approximately 30 years old, 170 cm tall, with a shaved head, goatee beard, glasses, and a muscular build, was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, and distinctive yellow Asics sports shoes. Two unknown helpers intervened, preventing further harm to the victims.

The assailant then boarded an S6 train towards Pasing after the incident at S-Bahn station Karlsplatz (Stachus). Around 21:35, he got off the train at Pasing Station and, without provocation, pushed a 63-year-old man down several stairs. The same assailant is believed to have been involved in a previous altercation at the station, as video evaluation of the incident revealed that he had threatened and spat at two other unknown men at S-Bahn station Karlsplatz (Stachus) on the same day.

The assailant also bit one of the helpers who intervened after the fall at Pasing Station. The four men are considered unknown victims of the violent offenses.

The Federal Police is investigating the offenses of dangerous bodily harm in both incidents. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward to help identify and apprehend the assailant.
