The Munich Federal Police Inspection is currently investigating a series of violent incidents that occurred at Pasing and Karlsplatz (Stachus) stations on August 13th. The offender, described as a North African/Southern European man in his 30s, is being sought by the authorities.

The incidents began at S-Bahn station Karlsplatz (Stachus), where the unidentified individual is suspected of threatening and spitting at two unknown men. He then boarded a S6 train towards Pasing. Upon arrival at Pasing station, the same individual is believed to have pushed a 63-year-old man down several stairs without provocation. Two other unknown individuals intervened, preventing further harm.

The victim from the Pasing incident sustained a wrist sprain, scrapes on his knee, and elbow. The Federal Police have initiated a video analysis which led to the discovery of the incidents at both stations.

The suspect is described as approximately 30 years old, 170 cm tall, with a shaved head, goatee beard, glasses, muscular and athletic build, well-groomed, dressed in a white T-shirt, black shorts, and distinctive yellow Asics sports shoes.

The Federal Police is asking for witnesses to these altercations at Pasing and Karlsplatz (Stachus) stations to call 089/51550-0. The public's assistance is crucial in identifying the suspect and locating him. The police warn that he may still be armed and advise anyone who encounters him to avoid confrontation and contact the authorities immediately.

The Munich Federal Police Inspection is responsible for police safety and criminal investigation in Deutsche Bahn facilities and the largest German S-Bahn network. Their area of responsibility includes over 210 stations and stops on 440 kilometers of track. The station in question is located at the East Station and has service rooms at the main station, Pasing, and Freising.
