Week ahead in RLP: Thunderstorms kick off the new week
On Tuesday, the weather in Germany is expected to be overcast, with heavy rain showers and potential thunderstorms throughout the day, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). The highest temperatures will range between 18 and 22 degrees.
As the day progresses, the weather is expected to take a turn, with the clouds gradually clearing towards the evening. However, the respite from the rain is likely to be temporary, as heavy showers and local storms are still possible in some areas.
The cooler temperatures are set to continue on Wednesday, with the highest temperatures ranging between 17 and 21 degrees. The region will be drier on this day, with the west experiencing a low chance of showers, while the east may still experience occasional showers.
Looking ahead to Thursday, the weather will be changeable. The south of Germany will enjoy partly sunny conditions with temperatures ranging between 20–25°C. In contrast, the north will be cooler and changeable, with rain and temperatures between 17–20°C. The wind in the north is predicted to be moderate to stormy, with potentially longer rain periods.
