Wildlife Fundraising Event: Brotherhood Gathers Contributions for Wildlife Preservation at Six Bridges Rally
The Schleiminger Racing Team, led by Uwe and Bernd Schleiminger, has embarked on a two-week tour across Europe as part of the Six Bridges Rally. The tour, which began today, Saturday, will end under the Müngstener Bridge in two weeks.
The team's Mercedes has been carefully prepared for the adventure, with a fabric washbear acting as a guardian angel for the car. This unique gift, equipped with a compass, will guide the way in case of an emergency. A pillow with loving messages was also given to the Schleiminger brothers for comfort during long stretches.
A total of 27 teams with over 50 participants are participating in this year's rally, covering approximately 6,000 kilometers. The route includes all six bridges, including the Müngstener Bridge, that are expected to be recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site next year.
The Six Bridges Rally, like previous years, aims to support the Fauna Park through donations collected during the rally. A donation box was given to the Schleiminger brothers, who warmly welcomed the gesture at a press event held at the Fauna Park before setting off.
Every little contribution to the donation box will help support the work of the Fauna Park. The board of the Fauna Park expressed their warm welcome to the Schleiminger brothers at the press event.
During the rally, the Schleiminger brothers will be collecting donations for the Fauna Park. Driving on motorways and using navigation devices is prohibited during the rally, with only country roads allowed for travel. The journey focuses on the experience rather than the destination.
