Wind instrumentsechoed throughout the chamber concert of the Kassel Army Music Corps, held in the Heilandskirche Altenritte.
In the heart of our city, a concert of seven ensembles from the Army Music Corps echoed through the walls of the historic Heilandskirche. Each ensemble decided autonomously which pieces they would contribute to the concert, creating a diverse programme that delighted the audience.
The concert, a service provided by our city Marketing, showcased news from our city, the district of Kassel, and the North Hesse region. Staff Sergeant Claudia RΓΆmer hosted the event and even performed a percussion solo. The ensembles played a mix of classics of brass music, classical literature, and a Michael Jackson Medley, ensuring there was something for everyone.
The audience was moved not only by the music but also by the spirit of giving. After the concert, they donated a total of 840 euros. These funds, along with food and drink donations from Heidi Jakob, GΓΌnter Schaub, Manfred Claus, and Gunhild Groh, will be donated to the Patron's Association of the Heilandskirche.
The Patron's Association is continuing to collect donations for the preservation of the church. Their big wish is to restore the original church bells. Donations can be made to the Patron's Association at the provided bank accounts.
