Woman consistently selects same lottery numbers for three decades, resulting in substantial winnings
Berlin, Germany - A woman from Berlin has become the latest millionaire in the city after winning a staggering one million euros in the lottery last weekend. The news was reported by Berliner Zeitung and confirmed by Lotto Berlin's spokesperson.
The winning numbers were 5, 11, 13, 39, 42, and 48. The lucky winner, identified as Angelika DreΓen, has been playing the same numbers every week since 1996. She is between 50 and 60 years old.
This is the highest sum won in Berlin this year so far, and it marks the seventh time someone in the city has won over one million euros this year. Six other wins have occurred previously in 2022.
The win took place in Schoeneberg, Berlin. Lotto Berlin's spokesperson stated, "We never call, we notify by post." The winner will be notified by mail and can contact Lotto Berlin after receiving the notification.
Angelika DreΓen is not the first lucky Berliner to win a significant sum in the lottery. Some winners only come in briefly to discuss their winnings, while others come in multiple times seeking advice on handling their newfound wealth.
Lotto Berlin's spokesperson also mentioned that a colleague with 30 years of experience provides advice on handling winnings. Winners of large sums can seek advice from this colleague if they wish.
The advice-giving colleague has been providing this service for 30 years and has a lot of experience. The woman from Berlin is the latest addition to the list of millionaires made in Berlin this year.
