Worker Perishes After Plunging from Vessel at Nakwol Offshore Wind Farm Site
In a tragic incident, a man in his 50s lost his life at the Nakwol Blue Heart offshore wind farm construction site, located approximately 11 kilometers northeast of Anmado in Yeonggwang, South Jeolla Province, South Korea.
The incident occurred late Tuesday night, with the man believed to have slipped and fallen while trying to board a 4,500-ton crane vessel. The Coast Guard found his body after a search, and he was later taken to a nearby hospital, where his death was confirmed early Wednesday.
The name of the worker has not been publicly disclosed.
