World's Largest Environmental Center Resides Here
Yevgeny Mukhametzhanov, the founder of ECO Network, is set to bring his eco-friendly vision to Astana with the planned opening of a new eco-hub. The initiative aligns with the national project "Clean Kazakhstan," aiming to improve the country's ecological situation.
Mukhametzhanov has been creating products that foster an eco-culture for seven years through his organisation. Previously, he successfully implemented a similar project in Almaty, where events for 15-20 thousand people have already taken place.
The eco-hub in Astana will serve as an ecological space, promoting the choice of eco-friendly, locally produced products over regular chemicals. It will offer residents a place to sort waste, receive training, participate in workshops, and form eco-friendly habits.
The eco-hub is designed to cater to both adults and children, with events including lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions aimed at promoting responsible attitudes towards nature and reducing household waste. The goal is to form ecological habits from an early age.
Nursultan Nazarbayev, the initiator of the Eco-Hub in Astana, emphasises the importance of sorting waste and conscious consumption. The city administration reported the planned opening of the eco-hub on their site, but no new information about the opening date or location has been provided yet.
Mukhametzhanov believes that changing individual behaviour can lead to changes in the entire system. His organisation's offerings, such as 'Green Office', 'Green School', and 'Green Courtyard', reflect this belief, providing eco-friendly solutions for various aspects of daily life.
The eco-hub is not just a place for learning and sorting waste; it's an opportunity for the community to come together and make a difference. Mukhametzhanov promotes the idea that by choosing eco-friendly products and adopting sustainable habits, we can contribute to a cleaner, greener future for Kazakhstan.
