Xenon Automation Technology Expands Operations with New Production Facility in Dresden

Xenon Automation Technology, a leading manufacturer of automated production systems, has announced plans to construct a new assembly hall in Dresden, Germany. This investment of 3.5 million euros is a testament to the company's commitment to innovation and growth.

The new production facility aims to shorten delivery routes and increase efficiency, as it will centralize production and improve logistics at the site. According to Sebastian Popp, Director of Production and Purchasing, the new hall will halve the logistics effort.

Xenon has been a significant player in the industry for years, supplying customers from various industries around the globe. The company's resilience is attributed to its international positioning and diversified strategy. In addition to its Dresden headquarters, Xenon has approximately 90 employees in China and 55 in Mexico, with its foreign locations growing rapidly.

The company has continuously acquired and developed assembly areas, and its overseas locations are contributing to its service, development, and production for customers abroad. In fact, Xenon serves customers overseas from its foreign locations, not only in service but also in development and production.

Xenon's focus on the production of future technologies, such as electronic components for renewable energies and sensors for autonomous driving, is evident in its recent collaboration with Sunfire, a leading manufacturer of hydrogen electrolysers. Together, they are developing innovative assembly processes that enable the precise assembly of fuel cell stacks with an integrated layer correction for optimal fit and functionality.

In 2024, Xenon Automation Technology achieved a record turnover of 88 million euros, a testament to its success in the market. The investment in the new production hall is not related to the announced economic program of the federal government.

The new building in Dresden is a vote of confidence in the region, and Xenon's continued growth is a boost for the local economy. With the construction of the new production hall, Xenon closes an important gap at the production site and further cements its position as a leading manufacturer of automated production systems.

The Managing Director (CEO) of Xenon Automation Technology, Dragan Dimitrovici, made the decision to construct the new production building. Xenon was the first company to settle in the industrial area of Coschütz-Gittersee in 1994, and it continues to be a driving force in the region's industrial development.
