Xiaomi YU7 Max: Power Output Surpasses as Per Manufacturer's Declaration
The Chinese consumer electronics giant, Xiaomi, has entered the electric vehicle market with its latest offering, the Xiaomi YU7. This premium electric SUV boasts a range of advanced features, including artificial intelligence for enhanced driver assistance, infotainment, and connectivity.
The standard YU7 comes with a range of 700 km (CLTC), while the higher-spec Pro and Max models extend this range up to an impressive 800 km. The YU7 is equipped with a 400V/800V hybrid charging architecture, enabling ultra-fast charging capabilities. In just 15 minutes, the YU7 can add up to 510 km of range.
The YU7's interior is a testament to its premium status, featuring a large 16.1-inch touchscreen powered by Qualcomm and Nvidia chips. This integration creates a unified and intuitive user experience within Xiaomi's "Human-Car-Home" ecosystem, connecting the vehicle with user devices and smart home systems.
In a comparison with the Zeekr 007 GT, both vehicles exhibited similar power curves. However, the YU7 Max, the top-tier variant of the YU7, demonstrated advantages above 800 km/h despite carrying an additional 200 kg of weight. The YU7 Max, as tested by Auto Sohu, has a maximum horsepower of 698.1 bhp when Boost mode is engaged, exceeding the manufacturer's claimed figure of 690 bhp.
Performance-wise, the YU7 Max accelerated from 0-100km/h in 3.32 seconds and completed the quarter-mile in 11.11 seconds. Without Boost mode, the YU7 Max still achieved a 97 per cent power efficiency rate, while with Boost mode, it achieved a 101.2 per cent efficiency rate at the wheels.
The Xiaomi YU7 Max is a product of Xiaomi Auto, a subsidiary of the Chinese consumer electronics company Xiaomi. With its AI-enhanced features, impressive range, and impressive performance, the Xiaomi YU7 is set to make a significant impact in the electric vehicle market.
