Yakutians master the art of utilizing eco-friendly, reusable alternatives to plastic goods
In the heart of Yakutia, a new informational stand has taken residence on the 2nd floor of the SMART library named after Neustoev. This stand, established by the environmental engineering team at the local university, is a joint initiative by the Regional Operator "YakutskEcoNet" and Sinet Spark.
The stand's primary goal is to educate library visitors about the impact of waste on the environment and to inspire personal contributions towards solving the waste problem. It emphasises the importance of proper waste sorting and recycling, and the potential of single reusable products to replace multiple plastic ones.
YakutskEcoNet, the Regional Operator responsible for this stand, invites everyone to visit and learn more about waste management. Sinet Spark, another organisation involved in preparing the stand, also encourages visits.
The stand displays the amount of waste an average resident of Yakutia produces in a year, which is over 400 kilograms. It aims to help visitors understand how they can personally contribute to making Yakutsk and the entire republic cleaner and more eco-friendly.
The informational stand continues to provide education about the impact of waste on the environment, and it has been reported by yakutskecoseti.ru. The stand remains a valuable resource for those interested in ecology, and it is a testament to the community's commitment to a greener future.
