Young driver indicted for deadly accident on Highway 401 in Etobicoke area
A tragic incident occurred on Saturday morning, as a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a Ministry of Transportation (MTO) truck took place in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 near Dixon Road.
The crash, which occurred around 1:15 a.m., resulted in serious injuries for several individuals. The driver of the passenger vehicle, who was initially in a serious condition, has now stabilized, while three other individuals remain hospitalized. Unfortunately, one person ejected from the passenger vehicle was taken to the hospital but later pronounced dead.
