Youth Prevail in Europe: A New Generation Rising
Detmold, Germany, is set to host a significant event on Sunday, 27th July, as the public panel discussion for the youth project "GivEUvoice" takes place. This project, which aims to give young people a voice and empower them to co-create, was successfully launched in the city.
"GivEUvoice" is an ambitious initiative that brings together young people from eight European countries, including France, Spain, Greece, Poland, North Macedonia, Slovakia, and Cyprus. The project is co-financed by the European Union, and the participants are designing a platform tailored to their needs and ideas.
The young people are working on political recommendations for their home city, and they have already started an Instagram account (@giveuvoice.germany) to document their progress and engage with the public.
The European Youth Campus will be held in Detmold from 23rd to 28th July, providing an ideal platform for the project's discussions. The panel will include decision-makers from politics, administration, and civil society, such as the Rheinland-Pfalz Landtagspräsident Hering, Saarland Landtagspräsidentin Heike Winzent, Ministers Dörte Schall and Sven Teuber from Rheinland-Pfalz, among others.
For inquiries about the project, you can contact Daniela Lang via email (provided in the press release) or phone (a number also provided in the press release, published by the city portal). Daniela Lang is a key figure in the project and can provide more information about the project's goals, participants, and activities.
The public panel discussion on Sunday, 27th July, in English, promises to be an exciting event that showcases the power of youth voices and their ability to shape their communities and the wider European landscape.
