"Zamorozka": Podolyak suggests a potential course for the conflict in Ukraine
In a series of consultations, the President of Ukraine and leaders of Europe are discussing potential solutions to the ongoing war in Ukraine, according to Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the head of the President's Office of Ukraine.
RBC-Ukraine reported that Podolyak believes there is a good negotiating process with American partners and that the US will have a more realistic view of global events after the events in Beijing and Tianjin. However, it's unclear if any responses have been received from the US regarding Podolyak's suggestions.
One possible scenario for ending the war, as suggested by Podolyak, is freezing military actions along the front line. Ukraine is reportedly ready to freeze the situation along the current front line, but it's not clear if any specific agreements have been proposed or discussed.
Another aspect of the discussions revolves around the restructuring of global power dynamics and Ukraine's role in it. Podolyak suggests that investing in Ukraine can prevent a restructuring from looking anti-American. It's not clear if any other nations have been suggested as potential investors to prevent a restructuring from looking anti-American.
The main goal of the current consultations between President Zelensky and European leaders is to explore concrete support options for Ukraine's defense, including air defense aid, and to advance possibilities for peace in the Ukraine crisis amid ongoing military confrontations and diplomatic efforts.
Podolyak emphasizes the importance of investment in Ukraine for the war's outcome. He believes that Ukraine should ensure the war ends more or less fairly, so that Russia gets nothing. However, he did not specify any other possible scenarios for ending the war apart from freezing military actions along the front line.
The final decision about ending the war in Ukraine will be made by President Volodymyr Zelensky. It's not clear if any timeline has been set for the consultations between the President of Ukraine and the leaders of Europe.
