In a significant step towards promoting the employability of students, a meeting was held at the Illescas Town Hall on Thursday. The gathering was attended by key figures from the Urban Regeneration of Industrial Zones (RUZI) project, funded by European funds NextGenerationEU with the collaboration of the Public Employment Service (SEPE).

The RUZI project, a joint initiative by the Regional Association of Industrial Zones (Zincaman) and the Illescas Town Hall, aims to train and employ 8 young people under 30 years old who have been carrying out maintenance tasks in the Central Iberum Platform and Logistics and Multimodal industrial parks.

Antonio Cifuentes, director of the RUZI project of Zincaman in Toledo, was present at the meeting, along with Miguel Ángel Iniesta, provincial director of the SEPE in Toledo. The Mayor of Illescas, José Manuel Tofino, also graced the occasion with his presence.

Tofino expressed his satisfaction that Illescas was one of the municipalities hosting the RUZI program and thanked all the people, institutions, and companies that made the RUZI program possible. He also wished the students success in obtaining jobs in the near future.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with all parties reaffirming their commitment to the cause of youth employment and skill development.
